Peter Scott, Founder

Peter Scott is the Founder of Fields 4 Valor Farms (F4V). After serving twelve years in the United States Army as a Counterintelligence Agent assigned to Special Forces, Pete explored multiple areas of food production, including beer brewing, butchering, cheese making, culinary school, gardening, and beekeeping. He found a renewed sense of purpose in giving fresh vegetables and honey to other veterans, particularly those in need of nutritious food. Pete founded the farm during his time in the Dog Tag Fellowship Program in 2016 and grew it from a small garden bed to a seven-acre farm in just six years. Pete holds a Certificate in Business Administration from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

Elizabeth Fields, Interim CEO

Elizabeth Fields is the Founder of Jackson Fields Consulting.  Prior to starting Jackson Fields Consulting, Elizabeth served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Gary Sinise Foundation. Elizabeth has previously served in various executive roles at leading nonprofits and academic institutions, including National Public Radio (NPR), the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, and Michigan State University. Elizabeth earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees at the University of Arizona. She also holds an Executive Certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jennifer McNulty, Chair

Jennifer McNulty is the Vice President of TaylorMade Experience, overseeing business development, client acquisition, and event and fundraising initiatives. She is working to grow the company to ensure clients’ fundraising goals are met. Prior to working at TaylorMade Experience, Jennifer was a Major Gift Officer for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and also held the position of Foundation Director for the Holy Family Hospital Foundation. Previously, Jennifer served as Director of Development at Dog Tag, Inc., where she directed all fundraising and marketing initiatives. While at Dog Tag, Jennifer met then-Dog Tag fellow Pete Scott, and after helping him launch F4V, she joined the Board in 2016.

Mark Walton, Director

Mark Walton leads the Research and Regulatory functions for AquaBounty Technologies, a land-based producer of Atlantic Salmon that believes in using science and technology to help solve global problems like food scarcity and climate change. He holds a Ph.D. in agronomy from the University of Nebraska and has a 40-year career in agriculture, agricultural biotechnology, business, and policy. He has been a member of the Board since 2018 and is currently the Corporate Treasurer. Although not a veteran himself, his grandfather, father, uncles, and cousins all served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Stephanie Chase, Director

Stephanie Chase has more than 15 years of high-impact leadership experience, building lasting relationships coupled and marketing strategies. She currently works for Octo Consulting, managing corporate partnerships with partners such as Salesforce and Amazon Web Services. Stephanie has worked for several veteran-owned government contractor organizations focused on supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and hiring veterans. Her Veteran Service Organization (VSO) work has been focused on Dog Tag Inc., Fisher House, and the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program, where her team won Best Veteran Marketing Strategy. She is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, focused on Public Relations and Marketing. Stephanie joined the F4V Board in 2018.

Gary Ramos, Director

Gary Ramos is the Founder of Gary Ramos LLC, a Management Consulting firm.  Throughout his 40+ year career within the Department of Defense (Army Combat Engineer Officer, retired career civil servant, and Senior Management Consultant), he has been a valued subject matter expert and advisor to Senior Executives and Flag/General Officers across multiple disciplines. Gary’s passion for leading, motivating, and challenging civilian, military, and contractor personnel extends into everything he does. Gary earned his Master of Public Administration through the Key Executive Program at The American University. His deep respect and appreciation for veterans led him to join the F4V Board in 2022.

Gary Starr, Director

Gary Starr is a corporate finance consultant with over 30 years of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Previously, Gary was the Vice President of Finance and Administration with the Gary Sinise Foundation. Gary previously served on the Board of Directors for College Bridge, an education non-profit, and is currently the Treasurer for LAIT911, an LA-based humanitarian wellness nonprofit. Gary earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and his Master of Business Administration from Loyola University—Chicago. Gary joined the board in 2023.
